The holidays were made for movies, or, the the other way around!

Here are some classics that always put a smile on my face this time of year:

The Bishops Wife

Cary Grant, David Niven & Loretta Young

Great story about an angel and those he was sent to help. (Basis for the remake "The Preacher's Wife" with Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington.)

Miracle on 34th St.

Natalie Wood, Maureen O'Sullivan, Edmund Gwenn, John Payne

If you ever question the existence of Santa Claus, see this movie and put your mind to rest! The 1944 version is a personal favorite, although I enjoyed the 1976 one as well.

Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss

This movie definately finds the humor in the holidays! From the family driving each other crazy to the famous "squirrel in the Christmas tree" scene, (note pic), this will get you in the holiday spirit for sure!
