Today is Dec. 24th.
Tonights the night!

Tonight's the night
you've waited all year,
to see Santa Claus
and his eight reindeer.
He's made his list...
...and checked it twice...
...to see which boys and girls,
have been naughty or nice.
He'll fly through the air,
over rooftops they say,
with his bag full of toys
in the back of his sleigh.
He'll come down the chimney,
for his Christmas Eve visit,
(but you'll be asleep,
and likely to miss it!).
Eating cookies and milk,
all over the world,
leaving presents in stockings
for each boy and girl.
It's quite a long night
for this oversized elf,
but he loves what he does
in spite of himself!
When the evening is through
and he's all sleepy and tired
to the North Pole he goes--
to his bed, he retires.
Another Christmas Eve gone
it's time for Christmas Day,
the elves, Santa and the reindeer
can have fun and play!
So remember---
Santa won't come
unless you're tucked in bed tight...
